OVERVIEW
When the University of Charleston needed a bold, comprehensive and unique fundraising campaign for a $20m state-of-the-art sports and fitness center, they selected my consultancy from a pool of shops–and together, we delivered. The collaborative work involved multiple teams including the university's fundraising, PR and marketing departments along with the president's oversight and direction.







STRATEGY
The approach focused on the benefits and impacts a successful athletic program has on a university and ultimately the community.
Considering our audience – potential donors, we implemented a bold positioning statement: "Our Vision. Their Future. A Smart Investment." The call-to-action was just as direct: "Help us Build it." We also featured student and staff testimonials and featured donors, for a compelling peer-to-peer component.
Today, the facility boasts not only a updated fitness area but a tech-themed "Innovation Center."
