In 2013 Morgado was hired to work with Sirona Dental, Inc., a $900 million dental imaging company, to produce a UX interface and marketing support materials for a new digital magazine promoting the company's products and services. The lifestyle-oriented magazine featured stories from doctors all over the world who use SIRONA's CEREC 3d dental imaging system –a system which allows a doctor to capture high resolution images of patient's teeth and mill caps/crowns or implants in the office.

Stories featured on the site range from those about doctors who travel the world, to several who have built thriving practices after implementing the system.


Morgado worked with Sirona's digital partners, management and marketing teams in developing a strategy and implementing a design which would accommodate responsive technology and a custom CMS. After completion of the interface design, an electronic and traditional media campaign soliciting content authors among was launched.


A Content Author mail kit was designed and developed which included forms, information and a comprehensive instructional video. The package outlined the entire process from beginning to upload and was sent to all interested content authors.


The website was then promoted through an aggressive digital media campaign with a specific focus on social media sites and specific trade-related online magazines & journals. 


While lifestyle-themed stories are core to the site, case studies, continuing education opportunities and networking venues were also promoted. In addition, Morgado Design developed creative for those areas after the launch of the CEREC site, whose number of visits –and interest, continue to grow.
